Michael Cera Meets The Situation.

Thanks to popDAMN reader Kelsey (experimental version of what to call our readers- like hot damn. Get it? Haha)

I have to admit, I've been kind of down on Michael Cera ever since it seemed as though he was holding up the "Arrested Development" movie. It's still a sore subject. Donnevan.

Anyways, this made me CRY. Laughing. I almost died.

Aviators Change You.

In Youth in Revolt, Cera plays Nick Twisp, an intellectually sophisticated, yet unlucky-in-love high schooler (hmm sounds familiar still) with the hots for a pretty girl he meets over the summer. To muster up the courage to woo her, he imagines a mustachioed alter-ego named François Dillinger who has no problems seducing the ladies. (That’s Cera as Twisp and Dillinger in the picture above.)

It got strong reviews out of Toronto, and maybe-just maybe- Dillinger is the farthest is the farthest thing from George-Michael Bluth that Cera has ever played. Dillinger smokes cigarettes and encourages Twisp to crash cars, but he’s still a guy who "speaks with that deadpan clipped irony — in other words, exactly what we’ve come to expect from Cera" (EW.com).

Which leads me to my theory: Aviators change a personality/face. One accessory, and you are a totally different person.

My Paper Heart has ripped

Rumors have been floating around that Michael Cera is a huge jerk and his recent success has gone straight to his head.

I am now inclined to believe this. Yesterday, news broke that he and his real life girlfriend and co-star of Paper Heart have broken up. And, he is the one person holding up Arrested Development. And,what's AD without George Michael? Not as funny... still funny, but less.

Cera and Charlyne Yi were dating for the past three years, which, let's face it, is longer than a lot of marriages. Sources are coming forward and blaming a wandering eye on his part. Blah, so typical. Lanky guy in the biz finally goes mainstream and can't remember those that were with him from the start.

Poor Charlyne, which reminds me of my favorite Anthony Hamilton Song - 'Charlene'. Love that song, here's the video.

--Update: Charlyne just commented that they have never dated. Whoops! Oh well, he's still a jerk about the Arrested Development thing. That is enough to garner hate from me.

--- Damn, that's what I get. Sorry, readers. Even I should check my facts!!
HAPPY 100 and one!
