What the hell is going on with Hayden Christiensen's hair? Did he get hit by a tsunami of hair gel before leaving the house?

Here's my theory: when men start to thin out a little, they get desperate and try out looks like this horrendous mop. Just take Jon Gosselin as an example.

Or even Skeeter from "Doug". In fact, I may blame him for this trend.

I could see Hayden thinning out a little, even behind this mask of insecurity. I see it coming, and you can be damned sure he does too- hence the horrendous 'do.
