M.I.A. No Longer.

Finally, M.I.A. is coming out with a new album. This time, her goal is oh, only to make an album that will stand the test of time. She said,

"I want it to be, like, no gimmicks. I wanted to make something you could play that isn't like trendy just for three months, or the length of a DJ's attention span."

Sweet. I'm excited. And I know Theo will be. We need more dance music.

Is it just me, or does M.I.A. seem really into herself? I'm not super like fimilar with the record making process, but do artists set out to make songs that will only last for a few months? This is making me anxious.
