What Skin Color Do You Want?

This is sick. I would totally trade my skin color for Theo's. Reasons: I could stop worrying about sunscreen so much. And people would stop making fun of me when I say, "This is so wack." Even Theo.

But on the real (another thing I could say) this is crazy that little kids are already starting to think and see things this way! Did you know that most black little girls prefer white Barbies to the black Barbie? (sidenote, Barbies in general are messed up)

How Will Health Care Bill Affect Us NOW?

Click here to read CNN's article on the newly passed health care bill that President Obama will sign into law on Tuesday.

Basically the items that will go into effect immediatly are:

• No more annual or lifetime caps. This will mostly affect patients with serious illnesses who face staggaring bills, as health insurance companies will not be allowed to place a cap on how much they will cover.
• Help for the uninsured with pre-existing conditions. 
• Coverage for older children (college students, this means YOU). Insurers will be required to provide coverage options for non dependent children up to the age of 26. This will help recent graduates as well as young adults who are between jobs and uninsured. 
• A drug discount for seniors

This is a picture of Theo and I's love, Anderson Cooper flying to the Helmand Province in Afghanistan to report live from the front lines.

Love Anderson, you know this. But seriously, who decided to give him this blue Kevlar vest? With whatever is going on with that little collar thing? This is kind of awkward how color coordinated he is- dude, it's Afghanistan, not a J. Crew catalog.
