Subway Riders.

I love Hugh Jackman and this is a perfect example of why. Riding the subway with his kids, totally normally. Not too cool- in fact, he looks like kind of a dad nerd. He's got that backpack on that is basically the 2000s version of a fanny pack.

He's also not acting pissy and mean when people recognize him and take pictures of him. Becaaaause...

He remembers what it's like to be normal. He remembers that it's exciting to see a celebrity. He's happy people recognize him in a good way, and not a psycho stabbing way, which I admit is always a danger on the subway.

Hugh Jackman is genuine. The end. Cooler than cool.

popYEAH!'s Winner for Coolest Person Ever Is...

Le sigh. Hugh Jackman. So cute, so articulate. He won a People's Choice Award on Wednesday, and commented:

“Between being an action star and foreign born, there’s only one thing left for me to do, and that’s run for governor of California.”

How much cooler can he get?

The Many Faces of Ava Jackman.

How cute is she? This is Ava Jackman sitting on her dad, Hugh Jackman's shoulders as they walked home together from school. To borrow a phrase from the tabloids, celebs are just like US!

The best part is that Hugh seems totally oblivious to her little faces. That's got to be a funny moment when he catches a glimpse of these. I'd probably print one out to put on the coffee table. Adorable.

I know finals are coming up, but take a lesson and smile like Ava today kids!

Gimme Gimme Gimme...an ABBA Sing-Off.

Robert Pattinson and Hugh Jackman, who are starring together in the new movie "Unbound Captives", recently bonded in Japan over an ABBA sing-off.

"We met up in Japan and we went karaoke singing," Pattinson said. "We were singing Abba songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an Abba song sing-off, you know, last man standing. I think he won, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He's a cool guy and I'm really looking forward to that film."

I'm not gonna lie. After hearing Hugh in "Moulin Rouge" and Pattinson in "Twilight"...I would really want to see that go down. Plus the ABBA. Obsessed with ABBA. Going to go listen to ABBA right now.

This reminds me of the best line of any movie ever, from "Muriel's Wedding":

Muriel: "When I lived in Porpoise Spit, I used to sit in my room for hours and listen to ABBA songs. But since I've met you and moved to Sydney, I haven't listened to one Abba song. That's because my life is as good as an Abba song. It's as good as Dancing Queen."

Silence Your Cellphones...Or Else.

This is Hugh Jackman and his daughter Ava yesterday in New York heading to a pumpkin patch. Le sigh, love him.
 
We talked yesterday about Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman's new play, "Steady Rain", and today a clip has surfaced of what happened when a cell phone went off during their performance.

Kick ass. It's one of my big pet peeves. Hate stupid people.

It's Raining Men.

Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig's new play "A Steady Rain" is opening on Tuesday night at New York's Schoenfeld Theater.

It's a two man (the two BEST men) play about Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when they are investigating a domestic dispute in a poor neighborhood.

This is why Hugh Jackman has been sporting his new naked mermaid tattoo. Thank God it's not his, because it's tacky. Yuck.
