Your Highness.
This movie looks hilarious. I am so excited about this- even though I'm kind of on the fritz with James Franco right now. Not sure I'm liking the buzz I'm getting on him from Yale's campus. He's kind of letting off an "I'm so awesome and intelligent I hang out at Starbucks constantly 'trying' not to get noticed."
Barf. But this movie is what he does best- maybe he'll win back my good graces.

ANOIDSFNAFNPS!
Sorry. I know that's not a real title but this video is amazing. James is hot. Dave is cute. This is how I want my kids to interact with each other when they get older. Watching this, I finally saw their similarities. It's all in the mouth, the way they move it. I'm in love with the Franco boys.

James Back on GH!
JAMES FRANCO IS RETURNING TO GENERAL HOSPITAL!!!
Oh this is so killer. Ironically. I'm so mad because I was abroad when he finished his last stint, but now...he's BACK. Yes! I am so pumped right now!
He will return next month on June 30 for a "wild ride of mystery, music, murder and mayhem!"
“Working on General Hospital was a great experience," James said in a statement “I love the cast, writers, directors and producers. They have become a new family for me. I can’t wait for the work we will do this summer."
This is the second best thing that has ever happened to daytime television.
Hint: He was the first.

Saturday Night Franco.
James Franco premiers his documentery "Saturday Night" at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday. James directed "Saturday Night" which takes an insiders look at the behind the scenes of the weekly SNL show. Specifically the John Malcovich episode.
Here he is posing with Saturday Night Live regulars Jenny Slate and Keenan Thompson.

GH Makes Some Soup.
James was inspired on SNL, am I wrong? I mean, at least in the beginning. He definitely saved them a bit.
And GH on The Soup? How awesome. On the map baby, on the map. Once Joel McHale makes fun of you, you're made.

James on Performance Art.
James Franco. I really can't gush about him anymore, it's getting embarrassing. But he wrote a piece for The Wall Street Journal today, basically explaining his decision to go on "General Hospital". Something about performance art. I haven't been able to read the whole thing yet because my eyes keep drifting up to his picture, but I'll get there eventually.
It's called, "A Star, A Soap and the Meaning of Art: Why an appearence on General Hospital qualifies as art." Click here to read it yourself. Ironically, the 'what is art?' question is also one that has been popping up on GH in reference to his character, Franco. Tagging and pictures of grotesque crime scenes is Franco's bag, and he refers to killer for hire Jason Morgan as another artist. What is the difference between art and garbage?
See, soaps do teach us things.

Inside Look at James on GH.
Love James Franco. Why is his hair all flat though? Is that a "Franco" thing? Hmm. Maybe. Makes him seem a little old though. This should answer all the questions about why he's doing a soap opera.

Steve Burton Sounds Off On James.
I've been waiting for the other GH actors to sound off on this. It's their one chance to get in a magazine that isn't Soap Opera Digest. I could have guessed it would be Steve, although I would have also put big money on Ingo, who plays Jasper Jacks.
Steve also sounds off on the question a lot of us have been asking- why? “It certainly wasn’t for the money!" Steve says. "He wanted to try it out and get the experience. My reaction when I heard he was doing it was the same as the rest of America’s: Why is he doing this? Obviously, he doesn’t have a big ego."
Conclusion: James Franco is AWESOME. 48 hours from now...le sigh.

"This guy had 100 pages to learn in one day," Steve Burton, who plays gangster Jason Morgan, tells Life & Style. "He’s really putting his butt on the line."James was told he could use a teleprompter if he wanted, but he opted to learn his lines just like everyone else. "I didn’t think he would use one, just because of the type of actor he is," says Steve. "A lot of times people come from film and don’t know the workload, so I can see why he might have been thinking about it. This is the total antithesis of film. But he’s doing great.”

James Franco's Week Month Year Decade
Did you guys watch Freaks and Geeks? It was funny, tons of stars. I used to watch it with my madre on Fox Family (now ABC family). Well, James Franco was on that show too and Knocked Up, in which he was not credited. I know, he really the ultimate actor. And, the more you look at his IMDB page, the easier it is to realize this isn't a recent thing with him. The man's been in everything - best resume by far! He also has legit college degrees, sex appeal and he curses funny. I don't want to say, I love a guy that curse, but I like how it curse. Someone that uses the f-word in excess purposefully will make me laugh. Here's a clip of him from the set of Knocked Up for funny or die. Knocked's director, Judd Apatow, was the producer of Freaks and Geeks. I love guys that do favors for old friends. I imagine in ten years, Court have like five books and in each one a character will kind of have a characteristic of mine. Sorry, this one was tough to parallel into our friendship.
-TM
In ten years I only have five books published? How dare you. I will have at least...10. I better get started on figuring out 10 of your individual traits.

Franco Revealed.
I passed out when I saw this. They always have the worst timing too- I have a ton of work to do, and I could NOT concentrate once I saw these.
James Franco on GH. Pictures. He started work on Oct. 30 as Franco (real clever), a mystery man who is "a little off" for a two month period on the show. "General Hospital" executive producer Jill Farren Phelps told EW:
Now the bad news: Why does stupid Maxie Jones get to hang out with him? Zenon my ass. It should be ME. Stupid Maxie and her stupid heart transplant. Obviously he is someone of some importance, his name is written on a wall. I'm not sure where he's doing graffiti, it looks either like the metro court or Kate's magazine office. If Maxie is there, probably Kate's.
It goes down Nov. 20th. Be there. More pictures after the jump.

“When we first talked to James, we asked him if he really knew what he was getting into," Jill told EW. “But he was dazzling in terms of being able to memorize his lines. He has a remarkable process. He never forgot his lines.”Bitch please. James Franco can handle soap operas. I know it's a lot of lines, but...please. He is superhuman. Do not insult what you cannot understand.

James and the Big Apple.
How much do I love James Franco??? Why does he keep torturing me like this, I can't stand it. Insanity. I knew I was going to love him living in New York.
James Franco is going to have a guest role on "30 Rock". It has just been a full week of my favorite things coming together. He will be involved in a faux romance with Jane Krakowski's character, Jenna Maloney.
Creator/producer/star/all around awesome person Tina Fey said,
”[Jenna gets] into a high-profile relationship with a t hat is arranged by their agents.”
While he is currently in L.A. shooting episodes for "General Hospital", he will return later this week to shoot for "30 Rock". Where does he find the time? No wonder he falls asleep in class.

CO77X Means...?
No clue what this means, but any info sends me into a mental tail spin. I seriously might pass out before James Franco even makes it to General Hospital. Can't handle it. This picture is the first still of James' character on the show. So hot. All black means...evil? Must. Why in the world would you do a soap if you couldn't be evil?
Anyways, GH is keeping very tight lipped about James' character, but apparently his name will be named Franco (how clever) and has something to do with this flashback they aired about Dante. And apparently James' character is somehow connected to Jason?
WHAT THE FUG IS CO77X????? Are they trying to go all "LOST" on us now? More likely they are scared shitless because they have no freaking clue what to do with this.

A Bouquet of Beauty.
There are no words anymore. How many ways can you say "amazing", and "so hot"? I love his funny or die spoofs, they crack me up. Have you seen his acting lessons with his brother Davy? Funniest thing ever. EVER.
I mean, this is not his hottest moment, and he's still hot. That's talent.

The Man I Go Back to Soaps For.
James Franco. What is there to be said? I am in love. He hit the red carpet in New York at Fashion Group International's Night of Stars on Thursday, where he honored Gucci's creative director Freida Giannini.
Next week he begins filming his stint on General Hospital, which is set to air on Nov. 20. I...can't even talk about it. Too excited. I thought no one could make me sink back into the soap opera coma but...for James, I have. I'm watching every day now. They even stream them online now. It's a sickness.
Also- for anyone who cares, the original Lucky, aka Jonathan Jackson, is returning on Monday.

Saturday Night Franco.
I knew James Franco going to Columbia was going to be good somehow. I mean, naturally I hoped he would go to Yale so that my sister could be his TA and then I could meet/marry him.
But since that didn't work out, this is the next best thing. Why, you may ask? Because he can stop by Saturday Night Live...literally it seemed probably Friday afternoon, and they put him on. To say nothing. And it's still awesome.
Oh, and this picture is James on the cover of i-D magazine with Freida Giannini, the head designer of Gucci. He has been the face of Gucci's fragrance for men, and what a gorgeous face it is, non?
Le sigh. I love him. I've been watching "General Hospital" religiously again for him. My working theory, supported by my grandmother's ideas, is that they're going to make James a Cassadine. A mysterious "forgotten" Cassadine named Valentine (Valen-TEE-ne, not TIE-ne), who has a penchant for revenge. If that means anything to any of you.
I can't believe I watch this shiz.

SO EXCITED I CAN'T EVEN BREATHE.
JAMES FRANCO IS GOING TO BE ON GENERAL HOSPITAL!!!
Thank God Theo called me. At first I didn't believe her, because she has some verification issues, but girl gets her cred back with this.
He will be on for a multi-episode arc beginning Nov. 20th. He will play a mysterious person who comes to Port Charles. Like everyone else who comes onto the show. Nobody enters that town normally.
Executive producer Jill Farren Phelps says it’s “an honor that an actor of Franco's caliber would choose to spend some of his valuable time in Port Charles.”
I don't understand this at all, but I am SO EXCITED. SO DAMN EXCITED.
-CE
Yay for street cred!! i'm going to be freaking. I called Court earlier this semester because I realized I had a gap in my schedule at 3 pm. Now, I will have to watch.

Sense Memory.
The NYU Local is reporting that "James Franco is taking Queer Cinema, an undergraduate course in the Tisch Cinema Studies department. Franco was said to have set off a mild frenzy when he showed up at the department floor. His name is on the roster as James Edward Franco, though we’re told he already missed his first class. Franco – get it together."
Love James. Love his politics. I haven't seen him with a gf in a while though...I really hope he's not gay. It would break my heart, I love him too much. I guess there is always Davy Franco though. What a cutie. Check them out below.
