Loves it.

Some people are going to say, that LeBron is a show off and that he could have hurt someone. These things are true. But, the best part of this video is the kids on the side line and the smiles on their faces. He passed the ball to that little girl three times. Those parents pay the crazy amount of money to learn from the best and to play with the best. Playing with him is a once in a lifetime thing for these kids. It makes me smile.

Again, Really?

Khloe and Kim Kardashian attended last night's NBA Finals game seven between the Lakers and Celtics in LA. This is THE biggest game of the year. Like, there isn't a next week or game or practice after this one. The winners of this one are the best in the world. But again, Khloe and Kim can't be bothered to support their team. Even Mom Kris has a Laker jersey on. I get it - lots of celebs are there and you want to look your best but at least look like you want to be there. Goddammit, Khloe's married to a Laker- I'm sure she could get insane discounts if she needed them. Stop dressing to impress girls and dress to support.

Actually Theo, if you'll notice, they are both wearing black, and tan (see Khloe's shoes), a color that is nearly yellow, a Lakers color. I think this is as close as they will ever get.

This stupid shiz starts early- none of the players wives/girlfriends ever wear team shirts or whatever. Even the girlfriend's I see courtside at ND basketball games are in like, black dresses. It's like the official "Wives" uniform.

Sensory Overload

As in, what I'm suffering from right now. So, this will be a lowercase post - a sign of exhaustion. First, I have to apologized for not blogging this week. I've been so busy with school and volleyball. But, I'm going home this weekend, so I'll come back rejuvenated. Hopefully... did you know you can never catch up on sleep? I'm in that zone right now.

This post will have a lot of pictures, because me like Lebron, better know as lebronjonez.

But, the show goes on! On to cleveland, a so far defeated team (0-2). they've lost to Boston at home, and away across the border to Toronto. Critics are already complaining about the lack of defense. Blah. Two games into the real season and shits already starting.

I can already promise that you'll be seeing the Shaq/Lebron picture everywhere in a few weeks. And they have that three thing in common, so expect some clever play on that. "Three's company?" maybe... don't judge me. I'm tired. Boy George, even with that NBA logo on his face Lebron and his suit is sexy. Is it weird that I think he looks like Ray Charles... and I'm not complaining?

Ok I was about to totally judge you for the Ray Charles thing, but I see it. I do.

Sucker for a Man in a Suit.

Media day for the NBA - some light practice for the photogs and some of the new members give interview. "I'm so excited to be here." "We're really going to turn it around this year." "We've got awesome fans, can't wait to start the season."

My favorite part? Men in suits. I love it. It's also why I watch the Drafts. Men in suits - a weakness. And, as Court mentioned, we went to private school - so I don't mean that white oxford and messy tie. Gross. I mean grown men in tailored suits. Um. Just look.

YUM. Love my hockey men in suits. Can't help it. When ND's hockey team was really good we had to wait for hours in the entrance to the rink so we could score great seats, and we were there so early that the players had to walk over us to get in. So funny. But they were wearing suits and I almost died. Good thing I was already sitting on the floor because I almost passed out.

"Your mother gave it to me..."

With the NBA draft beginning tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers finally decided to announce what everyone knew was coming anyways: Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James are now teammates. I, personally, am torn about this merger of two basketball greats. Both want and are capable of being the center of attention.

Can two personalities like that ever really get along?

And, how long will Shaq be able to hold on- he's like 37 or something? I say, long enough to tell Kobe to suck it and when another championship with this years MVP, James.

The best thing about this for people from Cleveland is that hopefully almost fifty years of professional team choking ends. For the rest of us, we can look forward to some badass dance moves from both Shaq and LeBron... but mainly Shaq because he is as much as an entertainer as a basketball player. Like, really, who doesn’t remember Kazaam? Actually, I don’t despite the fact that I saw it. But, I like to think that’s a good thing after watching this.

PS- watch both videos. the second is straight from the suns website.

----

I would like to point out that the little kid in Kazaam was Eli "Weevil" Navarro on the late, great Veronica Mars.

And some of us loved Kazaam. And remember it every day of our lives. Ahem, but as a person from Cleveland, I say...bring the dramz. It can only make Lebron step up his game. King James has a challenge to his crown, now that's entertainment. -CE
