Seinfeld Says.

Jerry Seinfeld is my HERO. Ahaha there's a reason he's a bazillionaire. He knows where it's at- Lady Gaga should take notes.

This woman’s a jerk," Jerry said in an interview with NYC's WFAN radio “I can’t believe they put her in my box that I paid for. You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we’re living in now?”
"I don’t know what these people think or how they promote their careers," he said. "I’m older, I’m 56…I’m not one of these ‘all publicity is good’ people….Get an act—rhinestone bikinis and giving people the finger?" Jerry continued. "She is talented, I don’t know why she’s doing this stuff."

"You know, you take one ‘a’ off of that, you’ve got gag," Jerry concluded.

JUMP ON IT JERRY. He's the deal for real. I know Theo agrees with me.

Blue Jumpsuit Apparatus.

Tina Fey at the 2010 MET ball held on Monday at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I would say this is a hit. It is one of those I had to think about for a minute, but I really like it. It's flattering, COMFORTABLE (very important) and a good color.

Not too crazy about the bow on the zipper, but that's whatever.

Nope, this is Fug. Not worth of the MET ball. Sorry, Court. But, she's going to get bashed for this one. HARDDDD.
-TM

I don't care how some other people feel about it - I love it! Ok, I don't LOVE it, but I don't think she deserves to be bashed. I think it's good.

The Good News and The Bad News.

Sebastian Stan was out at GQ's Gentlemen's Ball in New York on Wednesday.

God he's sexy. Why isn't "Gossip Girl" using him more? He is a GIFT. A gift that they have at their disposal only because he's dating Leighton Meester. The writing on that show...terrible. What a waste. I hope "Kings" starts up again.

I put him in this post to give me the stomach for the next part. Sugar, aka Emmy Rossum was also there. Guess what bitch was bragging about?

She's in a movie with Zach Gilford, or Matt Saracen on "Friday Night Lights". She is SO not worthy of him. Get ready to wretch:
“It’s a love triangle between two boys and a girl. Zach Gilford and me and Ashley Springer, Alan Cummings is in it, Sandra Bernhardt...it’s kind of like a dark, sexy comedy.”

Getting Into SNL.

The NYU Local had a fun article in today- how to get into SNL. It is articles like this that make me wish I lived in New York. However, it is pretty much only this- I'm really not a city mouse.

It is however, one of my dreams to go to an SNL taping. Can you imagine? Le sigh, it would be wonderful. I might die from happiness. Anyways, for any of you who are in NYC/ are going there and want a chance, you have your work cut out for you. Here's the inside scoop:
  • Get to 30 Rockefeller Plaza late Friday night The line should be obvious by the makeshift fences and devoted fans already there. Depending on who’s hosting tomorrow night’s show, you should get there anytime from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. When the Jonas Brothers were musical guests last year, the line formed on Thursday. If Duane “The Rock” Johnson is hosting again, you don’t exactly need to build a fort a year in advance.
  • Bring something to watch, read, or drink. If possible, pack a tent or sleeping bag Hours don’t go by quickly when spending the entire night on the sidewalk. So you’ll need to keep yourself entertained (and possibly intoxicated). Friends can rotate for visits to McDonald’s or trips to Times Square. And keep the weather in mind — I once waited in torrid rain without a tent, then proceeded to puke my sickness out the next two days.
  • Grab a ticket at 7 a.m. SNL staff begins handing out tickets at exactly 7 a.m. You’ll be offered a ticket (with a number corresponding to your place in line) with your choice of either the rehearsal show or the live taping, but remember, admission is not guaranteed. The choice is tricky: you’ll probably have a better chance of getting into the rehearsal, but from experience, it’s much less of a thrill when your laughs aren’t being heard on national television. Yet a ticket for the live taping is risky — SNL staff has been known for not admitting anyone at some shows (again, depending on the host).
  • Go home and pass out Arrive at your lovely mattress around 8 a.m. and pass out for a few hours. That is, if you haven’t already from all the alcohol you secretly consumed in your tent.
  • Return to Rockefeller Plaza an hour before showtime Convert to every religion possible and pray that you’re let into the studio. If you have a lower ticket number — say, ticket #15 — you shouldn’t worry too much, but if you came late — ticket #120 — you’re better off trying out for a spot on the SNL cast. Also, please remember that nobody is allowed to use the restroom once the show begins, or you might actually pee yourself laughing.
  • If not let in, you just wasted your weekend Remember how I told you I waited in line during horrible weather and got the flu? Well, Christopher Walken was hosting and even with a decent ticket number, we were denied admission into the live taping. Prepared to murder Lorne Michaels, we went to a nearby bar. I forget what else happened.

Random Coupling.

Estelle and Mickey Rourke at the Max Azria show during New York Fashion Week. Apparently he was quite the ladies man, even chatting up Nastia Liukin.

Gross. And random.

The (Baseball) Game.

I watch this exact same scene every week on The Game, the CW show about Football player's wives. Only they are sitting in a skybox. But same plush seats, "well" put together, the carefully arranged supportive, yet not trying TOO hard facial expression that just ends up looking insipid, and also, no one is wearing any team clothing.

They're too "in" for that. I'm going to reference Derek Zoolander for the second time in a week- "You think you're too cool for school, but I've got a newsflash for you Walter Cronkite...you aren't."

They all look like goners to me. The guy behind them in the Yankees hat knows it. He's thinking:

"Now what the heck are THEY still doing here? The team should have gotten in a new shipment last week. That's baseball for ya. It's in the Tyson Zone now. Never know what to expect."

Tyson Zone is like my word of the day. I have somehow found a way to work it into almost everything. Weird.

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For...Gay Ice Cream?

Possibly the most ingenious idea ever. I mean, what, he has got to be getting a ton of press. NPR has already done a story on him for goodness sakes. Doug Quint- who yes, is gay- a classically trained bassoonist, has only had the business for a few months. He sees it as a fun summer gig while most orchestras are on break.

"If I weren't gay, I wouldn't call it the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. And if I weren't happy, I wouldn't have the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. It would just be the big crabby ice cream truck," Quint says.

As for his menu, well he describes it as "metrosexual", with toppings such as ground wasabi peas, caramelized bacon, Trix cereal and Nutella.

I want to go to there.
