Harry Potter Must Not Be a Silly Actor!

Say the title in a high Dobby voice, and you will die laughing. Love Dobby! Aww. Dobby. Anyways, before I cry, here's a quote Daniel gave the Daily Star:

"I hate celebrity culture but I’m unavoidably part of it. These people are celebrities as a by-product of what they do. People read every little thing about Peter Andre and Jordan
and I couldn’t care less. They don’t want to work, have no interests, no passions, nothing and yet they seem to be held up on pedestals. I don’t think they should be trying to push themselves onto us. It does annoy me of course, but I’m part of it."

I love Daniel Radcliffe! This is exactly how I feel. It sounds ironic, I know- but the point is, we don't (or try not to) blog about people who don't matter. Lindsay Lohan, Leanne Rimes, Miley Homewrecker, so on and so forth. People who have nothing to give to the world except their celebrity.

Also- check this out, someone is holding up a picture they got developed at Costco for him to sign. How cute is that? I kind of love him in this leather jacket too. Very sexy.

Daniel Radcliffe has been talking about how he doesn't party with the rest of the HP cast anymore because he is trying to be a more serious actor.
I used to play a lot of pranks in the past but I want to be a more mature, serious actor now. I don’t get involved with drinking or partying with the cast anymore.”

This is in serious contrast to a popYEAH! favorite and Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint.

"When I'm drunk I like to cause mischief. I'll steal props like the broomsticks from the Harry Potter set and bring them out to the pub for comedy value. It seems funny at the time. Trouble is I usually get too trashed to remember what happened the next day."

Le sigh. I had such high hopes for him. I am slightly worried him. A ginger's future is already so bleak, he better get serious about his career before he wakes up hung over one morning and the Ron Weasley glow has worn off.

Happy Birthday to My Favorite Ginger!

Rupert Grint, duh, is 21 today. That really doesn't mean much unless you're from the States, but still- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

This is the first time popYEAH! has celebrated a celebrity's day of birth and possibly the last, but it's Ron, guys. Ron. We love him and Rupert. Like, distinguishing between the two, I like them both a lot.

Remember my smile theory? Glad, he's got some color and that hair has a little less fire.

Update: When, I went back to find the smile theory, I realized I also celebrated Daniel Radcliffe's birthday... Wow.

I was never this young

Have you ever thought that? At 18, I think this constantly - despite pictorial evidence and first hand accounts that I one was. Every year, I am more and more convinced that certain heights, weights, years have been fast forwarded to now. Because, the thought of me being ten years old... eight years ago is way too weird.

Today, Daniel Radcliffe turns 20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Crazy to see him, Rupert and Emma looking so young. I always forget how young they were when they started the Harry's.

Courtney and I always so how happy we are to no longer be 13 to 15, but somedays I do wonder if I enjoyed it more than I hate it now. Hmmmmm...

I sound old and I'm less than a month from 19. Maybe, I really am an old soul.

Call me grandma, cause I'm about to take a nap.

PS. Maybe after the age of ten, our smiles never change. Look at each of them and disprove this theory.

The smile thing is so true!!! Weird. Yeah. Hated those few years- everything I remember makes me cringe and think, "how was I ever so lame??!" I actually went to an Aaron Carter concert. My life-long shame. Le sigh, youth.

Ladies Kiss and Tell, Take 2

First off, I love this dress. This is Emma Watson arriving to David Letterman the other day. Isn't it just so...lesigh. I wish I was her soon-to-be lucky beyotch of a room mate so I could raid her closet. You know she'd be super nice about it too.

So, you know you love it, but Emma said this of her kiss with Rupert Grint:

"I pounced on him," but she also goes on to say that she was, "desperate to get it over with."

This is Take 2 of why Harry Potter is so, SO much better than Twilight. There is none of that "oooo Kristin and Rob have to be together, it's so perfect, so much DRAMA!" Shiz that people are trying to pull off...

Puh-lease. Shoot them. Harry Potter is about the story, not the drama. Like Theo referenced She's Just Not That Into You the other day. Point? Girls are all about the drama. Paying the bills late just for a thrill, that kind of thing.

Some girls at least. Glad to know Emma is not one of them. This is just one of many, many reasons why the greatness lies with the Hogwarts crew.
