Just her name alone means something. Awesomeness. Fierciocity. Girl is so cool you have to make up new words just to describe her. 

“The album is definitely an evolution. It’s bolder than the music on my previous albums because I’m bolder. The more mature I become and the more life experiences I have, the more I have to talk about. I really focused on songs being classics, songs that would last, songs that I could sing when I’m 40 and when I’m 60,” she wrote.

Rio Curls.

The always lovely Beyonce Knowles was spotted in Rio De Janiero on Wednesday afternoon, February 10 (aka my birthday) visiting the famous 130 foot tall Christ the Redeemer statue with her mother. It is considered the largest art deco statue in the world.

Also a work of art: her hair. How does she get her curls to be so awesome? Would kill to know what she puts in it.

Did Nothing For Me

Yes, back to back about Beyonce. She just got done performing and as predicted I am disappointed. She performed "If I were A Boy" and covered an Alanis song. Um... no, SASHA. Not cool. Give me something relevant. I'm sorry to be ungrateful, but she's set the bar for herself so high. On the bright side, she looked ah maz ing. I'll repost later with updated performance pictures, right now these are from red carpet.

Not Who I Wanted to See

"Single Ladies"! It's already the song of the year, but Beyonce didn't accept the award... some other guys did. Now, shush. I know it wasn't just her who did the song- but she made it what it was. If Carrie Underwood sang it, would Kurt have memorized that dance? I think not. But, we got a little compensation- Taylor Swift dancing in the background. Gosh, got to love both of them. Beyonce's about to perform. That bad thing with having so many hits? No one is ever fully satisfied with the song you decide to perform. I want them all- so, I know I won't be happy.

She Is... Ours

Thanksgiving night. Instead of watching Texas/Texas A&M and praying for the upset, I was watching Beyonce on ABC. At first, I was unhappy. Then, I was enthralled. Contrary to my assumptions, she's not boring, just hardworking and generally, fiercely private. But, she opened up for us at home and Las Vegas. She appeared on camera with JAY-Z. She sang all of her hits. And, really, she has a ton of hits with or without the Destiny Child songs.



I would kill to see her in concert and I'm not a pyscho fan of hers. I just know she puts on a good shows. I'm attaching this video, because this is, no joke, the song I was most excited about her singing.

VMA's: Fab to Fug.

Most fab:
Katy Perry. Have to say I dig this, especially since she was doing "We Will Rock You" later. Very appropriate. Plus it's the VMA's, aka fun time, although this is a little tame for some of the things I've seen her wear.

 Beyonce, way more classy than this dress would let on. But it's B- she can do whatever she wants and still look fab. She has tested this rule many times.

Now the fug:
Just as her sister made it on our best dressed, Solange Knowles fugs it up big time. I...am not even sure where to begin. I look at this and see that she needs therapy. Someone is very unhappy being in second place. 

Really Adrienne Bailon? You didn't look in the mirror think maybe that this might not be the best idea. Ugh, the dress is bad enough, but when you add the boots...ugh. Again. 

Only two of each for space reasons, but of course there were far more in both catagories. Don't even mention Lady GaGa, there isn't enough space in the entire internet for me to talk about that crazy fug. Of course Taylor Swift looked adorable as well, but the least interesting part of her night was what she was wearing, unfortunatly.
