Seizures in Paris

WARNING: Above video could cause seizures... it is, after all, a Kanye production.

Let me start out with the facts. I love this song. I know every single word to this song and I am proud of it. I hate the new music video for this song.

All I want and need for this music video is their live performance, because it's AMAZING! It's truly fantastic. YouTube their live performance, I'm attaching one below for you to see, and there are plenty more (they performed it 168 times over 34 concert dates).

I mean, you want to be there, right? You want to throw your hands up every single time Jay-Z says, "Again!" It kills me that I wasn't at their Chicago date, when they did it 9 times. 9!

This music video is so disappointing because the great shots of them live on stage are incredible... and then they cut it with weird ass shots of girls gyrating, in double, on screen. Such a disappointment.

Also, how much do you love that Kanye is basically wearing a dress? So much right?

Jay and B Approved.

Aziz Ansari is so COOL.

You don't just get an awesome candid shot with the king and queen of hip hop and R & B without being declared officially freaking awesome!

I want to be friends with him so bad. Also, this was taken at Bonnaroo, where I really super want to be, so another reason to be jealous.

Skype Dates.

Soooo funny. I love Jay-Z and Beyonce. They are probably definitely my favorite celebrity couple. He's SO funny. Is it weird I totally thought about me and Theo as Jay-Z and Beyonce? Because our Valentine's Day was totally spent on Skype, while...one of us is in an exotic location.

She Is... Ours

Thanksgiving night. Instead of watching Texas/Texas A&M and praying for the upset, I was watching Beyonce on ABC. At first, I was unhappy. Then, I was enthralled. Contrary to my assumptions, she's not boring, just hardworking and generally, fiercely private. But, she opened up for us at home and Las Vegas. She appeared on camera with JAY-Z. She sang all of her hits. And, really, she has a ton of hits with or without the Destiny Child songs.

I would kill to see her in concert and I'm not a pyscho fan of hers. I just know she puts on a good shows. I'm attaching this video, because this is, no joke, the song I was most excited about her singing.

Brotha from another Motha

Last Friday, I was reminded of why I love Jay-Z and Chris Martin (of Coldplay). Really, remember my rant about Jay a few weeks ago? I love Chris; I wouldn't fight it. But, nothing compares to my love for Jay-Z. Nothing.

I love unlikely friendships. It's just so sweet. As is this video, love that Chris calls Jay by his full name.

And, they're great friends. Sexy. So sexy. Why do they have to be married to amazing, gorgeous women? I think Beyonce and Gwyneth would scoff at the thought of either of their spouses cheating?. In my eyes, they are the epitome of power couples. Becks and Posh/Tom and Kate(ie) are probably constantly vying to make it a power triangle. Madonna is probably seething.

Our Famous Selves.

Love this friendship. It reminds me of Theo and I. Except I'm Jay-Z and she's Chris Martin. Ha.

I especially love this friendship when it benefits me- à la when they collaborated on "Lost". That was a stellar performance. Well at a Coldplay concert on Friday, Jay-Z came out onto the stage and tackled Chris. Hmm. I would totally do that to Theo, except at 5'3'' I doubt I could take her down. She's an amazon. Still, so cute.

Sexy Time

As in, I really want some with Michael Ealy aka the guy from Beyonce's video for "Halo". At first, I was going to write about how much I despise her new videos, but well played, Sasha Fierce, well played. She threw him in "Halo" and I completely forgot what I was going to say, which was...

Oh, yeah. Sorry. It's the eyes- his eyes are amazing and then the teeth. Saaaawoooon.

The song was written about Jay-Z and the light SashaFierceBeyonce sees around his head. And, I totally see one around Michael and Jay's head. I wouldn't fight either of them.

But, back to Beyonce. The "Halo" video is a nice break from seeing her and two randoms (possibly one tranny?) dancing on either side of her aka "Ego" and "Single Ladies" and "Diva". But, even in "Halo" video she feels the need to dance, and for someone trying to become an actress I find it hard to believe she's into M.E., which really can't be a stretch.

So, basically what I'm trying to tell Beyonce is that I personally want more guys in her videos than dancing. I think that's a reasonable request, no?

I should throw in a picture of Beyonce, but we know what she looks like. And, M.E. needs his space.
