Anyone Surprised?

There's a video going around of Miley Cyrus, 16 at the time, giving a lap dance to her 44 year old choreographer. Are you shocked? Really, are you surprised? Because, I'm not. I am not surprised in the slightest bit.

I'm not going to sit here and say she's a whore, because I don't think she is. She's a teenager. Have you met some of us lately? I've seen girls Miley's age do much more to people she's known a lot worse.

Not saying this isn't super gross. She needs to dance with some people her own age. I know some people are going to say- maybe he's gay or that their like family. But, I WOULD NOT DANCE WITH MY GAY UNCLE LIKE THAT. I don't have a gay uncle, but if I had one- I would ask him for boy advice, not how to make my hips go Boom Boom Pow.

When Will She Learn

Oh, Mariah Carey. Such a lovely voice, truly amazing. But, she's not a stick, which I really appreciate. It's nice to see a curvy woman topping the pop charts. I used to love Mariah- like hours of my life were dedicated to putting on "performances" to her music.

But, Mariah has body issue. And, the closer she gets to forty (five months left), more outlandish things she does. Last year, it was the fake six pack.

This week on The Today Show, she insisted on being lifted up. Like, the kind of lifts that Beyonce, Britney and Madonna do. You know... performers that dance. Poor Mimi is just a singer wanting to be an actress, dancing isn't her thing.

Clearly, that guy on the left is having a tough time. He's supporting all of her weight on one shoulder. I'm sure she's not more that 175lbs, but one shoulder- ouch. The entire thing looks so unnatural, like she decided to do it right before they hit the stage. Nick Cannon weights like 100 pounds. He totally could not do this.

Watching is Sexy : I'm Going to Live Forever

Twenty-nine years ago (1980), Fame was realized, instant classic- my mom told me she used to pray that one day everyone would one out into the streets dancing. At this time, she was twenty and she’s probably seen it about that many times.

Later this year, a remake of Fame will be realized. I’ll be nineteen and predict that I will be there the day it opens with a ton of fifty year olds trying to recapture their youth.

Nevertheless of the crowd, I’m sooooo excited. I saw the original with my mom when I was around ten – I laughed and cried. Hopefully the new one will have that ability!

The trailer looks good, promising. Lots of new and old faces that should get you excited!

Sexy Time

As in, I really want some with Michael Ealy aka the guy from Beyonce's video for "Halo". At first, I was going to write about how much I despise her new videos, but well played, Sasha Fierce, well played. She threw him in "Halo" and I completely forgot what I was going to say, which was...

Oh, yeah. Sorry. It's the eyes- his eyes are amazing and then the teeth. Saaaawoooon.

The song was written about Jay-Z and the light SashaFierceBeyonce sees around his head. And, I totally see one around Michael and Jay's head. I wouldn't fight either of them.

But, back to Beyonce. The "Halo" video is a nice break from seeing her and two randoms (possibly one tranny?) dancing on either side of her aka "Ego" and "Single Ladies" and "Diva". But, even in "Halo" video she feels the need to dance, and for someone trying to become an actress I find it hard to believe she's into M.E., which really can't be a stretch.

So, basically what I'm trying to tell Beyonce is that I personally want more guys in her videos than dancing. I think that's a reasonable request, no?

I should throw in a picture of Beyonce, but we know what she looks like. And, M.E. needs his space.
