Theo tried to convince me to see "Get Him to the Greek" after a weak moment when I said it looked kind of funny.

Here's my rule: is it 'kind of' funny, or is it $7 funny? Then I have to go through the trouble of sneaking food and Coke in my purse...movies these days have to be worth it.

Katy Perry and Russel Brand have officially announced their engagement. I think everyone saw this coming, and I think they're adorable and really love each other. But.

Yep, there's a but. To borrow a phrase from Zenon, I have an inky feeling about this. They haven't been dating that long, and...hmm. Can't put my finger on it. Let's just hope I'm wrong?

Anyways, despite my misgivings, congratulations! The couple got engaged on New Year's Eve in India, where he proposed to her in a tent at the foot of a mountain. ECHHH. See what I mean? It's TOO perfect.

And why does Russell Brand always look like he's botched putting fake tanner on his face?
