AGH! Love love love love HBO miniseries. They're the best, and with Kate Winslet in one? It's going to be phenomenal. I mean, if Drew Barrymore, the poor man's Kate, can pull it off with a modicum of success, Kate is going to kick it into high gear.Remember John Adams? Loved that miniseries. Laura Linney was outstanding. HBO always picks the best female leads for these things.
Kate is about to embark on a remake of Mildred Pierce, originally played by Joan Crawford, who won an Academy Award in 1945 for her portrayl.
Perhaps Kate is looking to reel in her second golden statue?
