"Flight" Flying Away.

"Flight of the Conchords" will not be back for a third season, as announced yesterday.
Bret, Jemaine and James (co-creator/director) said "we’ve noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it, so in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist."
They will be missed, although this is a huge disappointment considering their final album was a less than stellar farewell. Read my review for the Observer here.

Jennifer's Body Issues.

Alright, so thanks to writing for the Observer, a job which I am finding more an more lucrative, I got to see Jennifer's Body this weekend. As you might recall, I knew I would be too cheap and the movie would be too bad to actually pay for it. Story of my life. Good news is, since it was free it made the movie so much better.

Bad news: my friend Kelsey felt the need to point out to me that Megan Fox has toe thumbs. It was all I could see. There was a flash of one of them somewhere in the movie and honestly, that was the point at which I was most scared. They freak me.

Guys must not know this, or else how would she have a career? They are so freakish. It's like on 30 Rock- that's a deal breaker ladies (men). Serious. It's gross. Anyways, after the jump is the Observer article so you know my opinion on the movie, not just her toe thumbs.

Thursday Night TV.

Tonight is the night. The night we've all been waiting for. Television comes alive...Thursday nights on NBC.

I am such an NBC groupie it's insane. But seriously, check out this line up and tell me you don't have chills:

8:00 PM- Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday

8:30 PM- Parks And Recreation
9:00 PM- The Office
9:30 PM- Community
10:01 PM- The Jay Leno Show

So excited. I don't care so much about Jay Leno, but whatever, it's still cool. Le sigh. More Jim and Pam...does life get any better? Also Bones premieres tonight, but I have so much work to do I'm barely sure if I can watch The Office.

Also today would be the perfect day to post my Joel McHale interview, but sadly, Italian comes before such things. It will come. I will be insanely busy putting together that article for Tuesday's Observer. So I will probably just post that article here for all to enjoy. He is FUNNY, trust. Just as sarcastic as you would hope for. I tried so hard not to sound like an idiot. Watch Community though, it really does look hilarious. It is directed by the Russo brothers, who also did Arrested Development.

Bon nuit!
