Jesse James will be on NBC's "Dateline" tomorrow night, explaining his actions. I mean, as much as he can.
Lord. It just gets worse for poor Sandy. At least in the soon to be ex-husband area. Everyone knows (eghem Tiger Woods) that if you go to the press to do one of those "Excuse me for a minute- can you just turn the camera off?" cry and bitch about 'poor me' thing, you're just looking to make yourself look better in the public eye.
It's a huge backfire. Just stay in the background. Let it go away. Let people forget about you when the new person comes around. Again- Tiger Woods. People forgot about him when Jesse James came around. Sure, more people tuned into the Masters, but ultimately it was because there was a new bad guy in town: Jesse.
Tomorrow will tell. Let us know what you think.

NBC's New Show Trailers.
Love love love that Dick from "Veronica Mars" is in this. He is so secretly talented. And he's not playing a complete idiot this time so...good.
Now this one, "School Pride" had me sniffling. I admit, I am such a sucker for these shows. This one looks WAAAYYY better than "Extreme Home Make Over". Because Ty Pennington gets on my nerves. They still do wonderful work though, of course.
This one, "Love Bites"...well, bites. Sorry. I am happy to see Amanda from "Ugly Betty" getting work though. She's so funny.
This one, "Chase", looks good, but I'm really sick of kick ass butch blondes with accents. I've never met one, and I don't think I ever will. Also why is the murderer is hot? Like, model hot. Because that's always the case, right? Shootings by day, cat walk by night.
"Mr. and Mrs. Smith" happened like five years ago. Get over it.

Not So Much
I'll admit, I had slight crush on Justin Bieber. I think that's gone now. Seriously, has this kid even hit puberty yet? I don't think so, like - I really hope he hasn't. Yikes, he's like Mario the singer. I had huge crush on him until he took his shirt off and looked like a cross country runner. ALL BONES. Bieber has this effect- he need to hit the gym and start working out for reals. Where is Taylor Lautner's trainer?
Did you guy's see Biebs and Tina Fey on SNL?! Classic. No lie, it was really summarized all of my feelings. Love Fey.
-TM
Ok it's so true- his smile is like watching a baby bunny sniffing a tiny flower. But really Theo? Of course he's super skinny. He's like 12. Him looking like Taylor Lautner would be like seeing a ten month old with a six pack.

Can Hockey Get a Little Love?
Probably no one will appreciate this, aside from maybe Theo, but I'm just too excited about finally getting to watch a Pens game this Sunday. It's against the Flyers, which is...so perfect. I'll just be heading on down the road to the piazza Navona...oh yes. After a weekend in Spain. Jealous?
Anyways, the reason I can catch the game is that it's on NBC, and hence starting at 12:30, aka 6:30 my time. Above is an example of NBC's coverage of hockey. Notice anything weird? Maybe the fact that they show a reel praising a goalie OVER him getting scored on? Totally missed the goal, and the irony kills. Ah, America and their sports. Can hockey get a little love?
Seriously- they wonder why they're going to lose 12 million on the Olympics. As Conan O'Brien said, "Am I the only one who finds that really funny?" You reap what you sow NBC...
-CE
That's just pathetic. "He... just gave up a goal." That's what you get for trying to be fancy and playing replays instead of live action.

Brian Williams at Notre Dame.
He will also recieve an honorary degree. I would give a...HAND to be there. I would cut my hair short like little orphan Annie to be there. Sad thing is, if I wasn't abroad, I probably could have stayed and shot it for The Observer or something.
Breath C, you're in Italy. You'll meet Brian Williams some other day, and become best friends. It's all good.

The Bone.
Kathy Bates is set to guest star on "The Office" on February 4. She will play the CEO of a company that aquires Dunder Mifflin. She will be a 'charming' Southern woman who isn't used to hearing the word no.
This is cool, but it is the figurative "throwing of a bone" to rabid fans who are waiting for the Jim & Pam ("Jam") two-part episode in March.

Conan's Boom! Roasted NBC.
Conan O'Brien is my hero. HERO. He is the coolest BAMF on the planet. Listen to this, a Boom! Roasted that any Michael Scott would be proud of:
Now watch this:
-CE
See what I mean? So cool. Boom! Roasted NBC. Take that classy bitch slap to the bank.People of Earth:
In the last few days, I've been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I've been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I've been absurdly lucky. That said, I've been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.
Six years ago, I signed a contract with NBC to take over The Tonight Show in June of 2009. Like a lot of us, I grew up watching Johnny Carson every night and the chance to one day sit in that chair has meant everything to me. I worked long and hard to get that opportunity, passed up far more lucrative offers, and since 2004 I have spent literally hundreds of hours thinking of ways to extend the franchise long into the future. It was my mistaken belief that, like my predecessor, I would have the benefit of some time and, just as important, some degree of ratings support from the prime-time schedule. Building a lasting audience at 11:30 is impossible without both.
But sadly, we were never given that chance. After only seven months, with my Tonight Show in its infancy, NBC has decided to react to their terrible difficulties in prime-time by making a change in their long-established late night schedule.
Last Thursday, NBC executives told me they intended to move the Tonight Show to 12:05 to accommodate the Jay Leno Show at 11:35. For 60 years the Tonight Show has aired immediately following the late local news. I sincerely believe that delaying the Tonight Show into the next day to accommodate another comedy program will seriously damage what I consider to be the greatest franchise in the history of broadcasting. The Tonight Show at 12:05 simply isn't the Tonight Show. Also, if I accept this move I will be knocking the Late Night show, which I inherited from David Letterman and passed on to Jimmy Fallon, out of its long-held time slot. That would hurt the other NBC franchise that I love, and it would be unfair to Jimmy.
So it has come to this: I cannot express in words how much I enjoy hosting this program and what an enormous personal disappointment it is for me to consider losing it. My staff and I have worked unbelievably hard and we are very proud of our contribution to the legacy of The Tonight Show. But I cannot participate in what I honestly believe is its destruction. Some people will make the argument that with DVRs and the Internet a time slot doesn't matter. But with the Tonight Show, I believe nothing could matter more.
There has been speculation about my going to another network but, to set the record straight, I currently have no other offer and honestly have no idea what happens next. My hope is that NBC and I can resolve this quickly so that my staff, crew, and I can do a show we can be proud of, for a company that values our work.
Have a great day and, for the record, I am truly sorry about my hair; it's always been that way.
Yours,
Conan

Mini-Conan and the Tiff.
You may have heard about Conan O'Brien's little tiff with NBC. Corporations are evil, but that's showbiz, right?
Conan didn't seem to let the possible push back to a later time slot ruin his day out with daughter Neve, son Beckett and wife, Elizabeth Ann Powell in L.A. on Sunday.
Isn't that little girl just the spitting image of him? Crazy.

East Coast vs. West Coast (pt. 2)
Okay, I gave you two reason why Cali topped New York last night, but here are a couple legit more. My NBC loves Alec Baldwin and John Krasinski together. Jim and Pam finally tied the knot, 30 Rock is back. Court and I are happy. NBC is the ISH right now. I just had to say it.
Did you hear Michelle Obama is going back Leno Friday? Going to have to tune in for that!!

Chuck vs. The Ratings.
EW is reporting that because of NBC's low numbers so far in the season, "Chuck" might be coming back earlier than the March date that had previously been said. The show could be back as early as late October!
Love this show. Hope it comes back ASAP. Plus, if it comes back sooner, the chances of NBC order more episodes than the slotted 13 increase dramatically. Loves this news.

The REAL Brian Williams to 30 Rock
Courters loves Brain Williams, hence the title. She's named her camera after him. The man makes a tux look hot, got to love that Connecticut tan. And, I love 30 Rock. No need to elaborate.
So, putting the two together is genius... AGAIN! Last season, Williams briefly appeared in an episode for maybe 15 seconds. But, from the looks of it, we'll be seeing a little bit more of him. I love this show. I love seeing NBC stars like Conan, Al Roker and Meredith Vieira. Heck, in season 2, we even go an old Friends star. It was one of the guys and they haven't really been doing anything, but still- totally exciting!
It's Friday! Only, six more days!!

Here is Brian Williams' first appearence on "30 Rock". Thanks to hot poppin' damn reader Kelsey for sending it in! (PS- we are testing out names to call our readers. Perez has 'perezcious reader' and we want something too. So bear with us while we work through it.)

Maybe Court was right.
Maybe, this is the moment. i've watched it twice and Jim's (John's) face. So priceless when she says she can't be with him. Now they're getting married... I've accepted it- not saying that I'm happy, but I've accepted it.
I love Jim. As long as he's happy...I'm happy. I can't wait to have sons. I'm going to be that mom.
-TM
I will clarify: Theo and I were debating when she decided she hated the Jim/Pam storyline. I insisted it had to be this moment. She was unsure.
And, as usual, I was correct. Sigh, if I had a dime for every time that happened...

Happily Ever After.
Here are the first photos of Jim and Pam's wedding. The group travels to Niagra Falls where Jim and Pam tie the knot. The gang is under strict orders to mention to no one about Pam's pregnancy.
We all know how good Michael is at keeping secrets.
"Niagra" will air Thursday Oct. 8th. Enjoy the rest of the pictures after the jump. My favorite is the painting behind Dwight. Wonder who gives it. My gut says either Andy or Kevin.

Gag me with a spoon. I hate PAM! This is so... ugh. I'm pissed.

Theo. We FREAKING had a conversation about this! Check yo self before you wreck yo self! This is a dealbreaker. Ladies.

Thursday Night TV.
Tonight is the night. The night we've all been waiting for. Television comes alive...Thursday nights on NBC.
I am such an NBC groupie it's insane. But seriously, check out this line up and tell me you don't have chills:
8:00 PM- Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday
8:30 PM- Parks And Recreation

8:00 PM- Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday
8:30 PM- Parks And Recreation
- 9:00 PM- The Office
- 9:30 PM- Community
- 10:01 PM- The Jay Leno Show
- So excited. I don't care so much about Jay Leno, but whatever, it's still cool. Le sigh. More Jim and Pam...does life get any better? Also Bones premieres tonight, but I have so much work to do I'm barely sure if I can watch The Office.
- Also today would be the perfect day to post my Joel McHale interview, but sadly, Italian comes before such things. It will come. I will be insanely busy putting together that article for Tuesday's Observer. So I will probably just post that article here for all to enjoy. He is FUNNY, trust. Just as sarcastic as you would hope for. I tried so hard not to sound like an idiot. Watch Community though, it really does look hilarious. It is directed by the Russo brothers, who also did Arrested Development.
- Bon nuit!

Heroes Return.
HEROES. SO EXCITED. Man, all these awesome shows coming back has me all excited. It's better than Christmas. This is Zachary Quinto heading to the Heroes set on Sept. 2nd in San Fernando Valley. Scenes included Hayden Panettiere in her typical cheerleader uniform, that must be for a flashback or something.
At first I thought those cops were for the scene, but then I realized that their outfits were way too fug to be on TV. Save the fugness for the real public servants. She's probably bitching about the paparazzi to them.
Speaking of Hayden- funny story, her name literally means "Baker" in Italian. Learned that this week. So thanks to her becoming famous, I never forget how to say it.-CE
