Pink is the New Trucker Hat.

Ashton Kutcher sure is wearing a lot of pink in this new Valentine's Day movie. I am suspicious of this movie. Don't trust it. I feel like it's trying to be a new Love Actually. Which is impossible. It will try, and it shall fail. It will probably do well, but it won't reach the level of Love.

Love Love.

The Misunderstood Runaway.

Ok talk about contracting "I think I'm real cool". Taylor Momsen shopping with her mother. Taylor has created this alternate reality in her mind where she is a misunderstood teen runaway who just rolled out of bed wearing blood red lipsick and $200 sunglasses. This so called runaway made those fug bracelets in the garage of her house to get away from the pain of her parents not understanding her. Now they're all she has. Just her, her talent and a dream. Plus a little Starbucks along the way.

Here's the reality: Taylor Momsen is a pampered CW television star. Start shopping at Abercrombie and Fitch like the rest of your kind. It's who you are.

It's Not True!

It's not true! Thank God, it's not true. Megan Fox will not be blemishing the Batman franchise with her swampthang ways. I knew Christopher Nolan could not be this stupid.

"It's a rumor, it's not true. There is no script, there is no project to be cast in," said a studio rep on the widely reported rumor that Megan Fox had been cast as Catwoman in the popular series.

I bet Megan Fox started this rumor herself.

Fug Mug.

This is John Mayer's mugshot from 2001 when he was arrested for driving with a suspended license. John challenged TMZ's head boss Harvey Levin to find the mugshot, and if he did, John would donate 25,000 to the charity of Levin's choice. I might add, all of this was done over Twitter, which is of course, slightly more binding than a pinky swear but slightly less than double doggie dare.

Don't ever let John Mayer tell you he hates the limelight. The paparazzi are his friends. Now that he doesn't have Jennifer Aniston anymore he has to resort to this to get some attention.

Well, it was a big to-do because TheSmokingGun.com found the mug shot first, and TMZ was...displeased. And I quote:

"Bottom line--here's what John said on Twitter: 'if Harvey Levin at TMZ can produce my mugshot, I will pay 25k to the charity of his choice'. We found the mugshot, so pay up John."

Doesn't this picture look like one of those 'face in the hole' things? Legit or not legit, that is the question.

Sir Paul on the Record.

Rolling Stone did an article this month on the "secret" history of the Beatles. I no longer have my RS subscription so I couldn't read it, but it seemed a little bogus anyways. I mean, seriously? It's been years since these squabbles mattered. Just enjoy the music. It's done. Half the Beatles are dead anyways, get over it.

"John was on drugs, wasn't he? This is the trouble with history, with journalism. John said so much c**p that he later said he hadn't meant. It's bulls**t. We were there. We all enjoyed it. I never really criticized John. I'm not that critical. It's a question of personalities.John's was more abrasive than mine and that was good for his corner of the square that made up The Beatles. If we'd had two people like that -- forget it -- I don't think it would have worked.
Whatever bad things John said about me, he would also slip his glasses down to the end of his nose and say, 'I love you.’ That's really what I hold on to. That's what I believe. The rest is showing off."

Paul told Radio Times Magazine, "The image of John is seriously flawed because he was not the hard, mad man that people think he was. He was a very soft-centred guy and we had a lot more in common than people think. His favorite song when we were kids was 'Little White Lies,' which was very sentimental. It was a smoochy old standard that his mum liked."

I think Rolling Stone might have caught "we think we real cool"-itis. It's cool, I've got Paste now. They know what's up.

Hot Dog!

Oh Ugly Betty how I have missed thee. I only started watching the show last year, and I totally fell in love with it. Not with Betty so much, but Amanda. Love Amanda. How funny is she? That actress deserves her own show.

I can't wait for the new season. Betty's portrayal of an...Indian hot dog? Ought to be good. Can't wait to see what Amanda has to say about that.

Sad Schmutzen.

Liam Neeson spoke to Diane Sawyer on the Today Show this morning promoting his new movie Five Minutes of Heaven, where he spoke briefly on the death of his wife Natasha Richardson.

"To be honest, we're taking each day as it comes," he said. "I'm still getting extraordinary condolence letters from American people. That's deeply, deeply touching. And that's partly the reason I've recently become an American citizen."

Isn't that beautiful? Le sigh, this is just so sad. He also made mention of Senator Ted Kennedy's death.

"I met him a couple of times over the years, and he wrote my family a very very beautiful, touching condolence letter when Natasha died earlier this year," he said. "He was a special man. It's the end of an era I'm sure."

Love Liam. Hate it when horrible things happen to nice people. Normally we stay away from sad smut, but I know a lot of you really love Liam, as do I, so I thought I would touch on it. It's nice to see the support their family has gotten, a sense of community makes loss a little easier I hope.

Alright, I'm going to stop before I start blubbering in the middle of the dining hall. Next post will be some "roll your eyes at the stupid person" schmutzen, I promise. Schmutzen is the German word for smut I think. My roomie and loyal reader Michelle, who speaks German, is going to crack up laughing when she sees this. I've probably gotten it wrong and said penis or something.

Yeah, that is totally my life.
