All About True Blood, Cherie.

It is just about that time. True Blood is about to start again. Love it.

I bit the bullet last summer and burned through all the books by Charlaine Harris, and they are fantastic, of course, I'm just hoping it won't spoil anything for me. It was a tough call. But I think a good one. Sometimes it can be a little "What the eff??" for me, so this actually might help.

Here are some cast photos for this season:
Here's a preview of the season from Entertainment Tonight:

Vampire Doggy.

Ok I love Snoop Dogg. Ever since he was in "Starsky and Hutch" and ROCKED it. Now the fact that he loves "True Blood" makes me love him even more.

He's written a song called "Oh, Sookie" that takes place in 'Bon Temps'.

And quote: "We'll do it in the daytime, Bill won't know a thing."

Hhahaha he really wants to be on the show, and personally- I think he would make a SICK vamp. Sick as in awesome that is. I officially endorse that.

True Blood Q &A.

I can't wait for "True Blood". This is a Q & A with the cast, and a special 2 minute never before seen trailer.

Insanity. I'm just super upset Lafayette isn't there. He's like the whole reason I watch the show.

Welcome to the werewolves. Always good to have 'em around.

It's so funny. Michael Ausiello is totally tweeking. He's freaking out for reals.

"True Blood" Season 3 Trailer.

I cannot wait for June 13. "True Blood" is the best show. Underrated aspect though- the music. It's awesome.

Two New for "True".

Michael Steger, the 90210 'hunk' is taking a huge television step-up, and will be playing a character on "True Blood". He will be playing Tony, a gay prostitute, on the show in season 3, and possibly even in season 4.

According to EW, Steger's character, "gets picked up by King of Mississippi Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) because of his resemblance to his current steady, Talbot (Theo Alexander)."
Another new character will be that of Sookie's fairy godmother Claudine, played by former "Robin Hood" BBC actress Lara Pulver.

Can't wait. June 13.

True Blood Returns!

Season three of "True Blood" kicks off on Sunday June 13. That will make a happy birthday for my sister- amazing present, don't you think?

More Jason Stackhouse, what else could anyone ask for?

Earlier this year, it was reported that Southland stud Kevin Alejandro joined the cast. He’ll play Jesus, an orderly who takes care of Lafayette’s mother and gets romantically involved with Lafayette.

Café au Alex.

Why am I never at the right café at the right time? And when is more "True Blood"? I am dying here. It's been too long since we've had Sookie/Eric drama! Le sigh. Patience is not my virtue.

New Characters on True Blood.

In the next season of "True Blood", some new characters will be added into the mix, and I can't wait.

Apparently Sam Merlotte's long lost brother, Tommy Mickens, is described as "a grungy but handsome man in his early 20's". He also seems to share Sam's shape- shifting tendancies.

There are of course new vamps joining the cast, including a Czechoslovakian dancer named Yvetta who gets all clingy with Eric (back off bitch), Franklin Mott, who tangles with Tara, Talbot who helps Bill out of a jam and an orderly named Jusus Velasquez. All gorgeous, naturally.

Tara's mother also starts dating the reverend. Weird? Yes. But that's the "True Blood" we know and love.

Truly Horror-ific.

Anna Paquin, dressed in a gorgeous Marc Jacobs dress, accepted her award for best horror actress at the Spike TV 2009 Scream Awards held in Los Angeles on Saturday. Stephen Moyer also recieved a best horror actor award, and the whole cast recieved the "Best TV Show" honor, which was, get this: presented by the cast of "The Vampire Diaries".

The CW is so low class. SO low class. I've watched every episode of that thing and it is...balls out how blatantly they steal ideas from "True Blood" and even "Twilight". The only thing they've thought of for themselves is their dumbest idea- that the vampires can go out in the daylight because of some family heirloom rings that protect them.

Bullshit. It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. And their acting is, as usual with the CW, subpar. Like...soap opera acting. For sure. "True Blood" is bomb, no questions asked.

I Want Jason Back.

Is a blonde Jason Stackhouse too much to ask for? This brunette just washes him out. I don't like it. He looks so...ordinary. Le sigh. So much time until "True Blood" is on the air again.

This is Aussie actor Ryan Kwanten at the announcement for the nominations for the Inside Film Awards 2009 in Australia on Monday.

True Blood has Gone to the (Were)wolves.

So Alan Ball has confirmed that "True Blood" will be introducing werewolf Alcide next season as a love interest. Also appearing next season will be Denis O'Hare as the vampire king of Mississippi to play opposite the (thankfully) recurring character of Louisiana Vampire Queen Evan Rachel Wood.

I've been brainstorming who would be a great werewolf for the show. You know I have. So here are some of my ideas:
-Steven Straight: I wanted him for Jacob, he would be better in "True Blood" anyways.
-Henry Cavill: (above) I want him for everything, so he has to get thrown in there. He would be so awesome.
-Shia LaBeouf: I hate myself, but...yeah. I am ashamed.
-Jim Sturgess: He's got that scruffy pale thing going on.

Wouldn't it be hysterical if Robert Pattinson was Alcide? So funny. He maybe looks a little too young, but still. Twi's would freak.

Right Guy, Wrong Girl.

I'm sorry- do they not have Marilyn Manson in Sweden? Does Alexander Skarsgard not understand how tainted Evan Rachel Wood is? Like tainted yogurt- remember? Technically it's still good, but... you just can't bring yourself to take it out of the fridge.

Apparently Alexander isn't aware of this rule. Lainey Gossip is reporting exclusively that the two stars are- hold onto your gag reflexes- dating. I know, I know. Almost gagged in the middle of my modern drama class, and yes, it is ironic. Cause this is definitely going to cause some drama in the True Blood crowd. We loves us some Eric Northman.

I understand how she could be attracted to him, that's a no brainer. But then comes the question that women have been asking for centuries- how could he possibly like HER? Did he not see how hard she was trying to seem effortless as the vampire queen on True Blood? That's how she is in real life too, desperately trying to seem effortless. Look at this picture. She is straining to keep her smile coy and her voice raspy.

Ugh. This is exactly what I was talking about earlier with Edward Norton- dating the wrong girl can ruin the right guy. Alexander Skarsgard is quickly falling out of my graces. Luckily I still have Eric Northman. Le sigh, love Eric. True Blood's season finale is next Sunday.

To Dye For.

Ok I have made an incredible discovery that I think is going to throw some of you, and definitely my sister for a total loop. Anna Paquin was the little girl in Fly Away Home. For those of you unfamiliar, it's a movie my sister and I would watch over and over again, about a girl who's mother dies and she has to go live with her estranged father, and she discoveres these...ducks I think in a patch of woods that is being flattened and nurses them to health, and then they somehow become a news story as they make their flight south for the winter. Or something. Anyways, it's an awesome movie and I can't believe she was it it- Megan and I have watched it a thousand times. She gave to Nylon , about going blonde for the role of Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood.
"I don't look like a Barbie doll, and I probably never will. People are incredibly literal sometimes in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blond and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you're a bit stupider and happier."

Happy Friday Everyone!

I know these pics are like two weeks old, but I've been saving them for a special occasion. I think the first completed week of classes counts as just that. Le sigh, he's just so wonderful. This is Ryan Kwanten from True Blood for all of you not yet in the know. Enjoy!

True Blood Fashion Round-Up.

Alright, I love Sam, well on the show at least, I don't know much about him in real life. Honestly, what I'm starting to know about him in real life isn't too promising. I can only chalk this up to the fact that he is newly famous.

I feel like he's about to offer me fried chicken. Or a mint julep. Doesn't he just look SO southern?

Hate the haircut too. I like Sam with the shaggy dog 'do. Now onto Anna Paquin.
Ok, so this is the worst possible picture of Anna, her face is all scrunched up, but still- how could my new style icon wear something that evil swampthang Megan Fox has worn? And wear it...kind of worse. I hate the sleeves on it. She just looks stuffed into it somehow. Which is weird because she is a tiny girl.

This is depressing. Aside from the slightly funny picture of Colonel Sam, this is a very depressing True Blood day. I'll have to find Lafayette somewhere. He's always wearing something fabu.

My First Style Icon.

Hey all! Crazy day today, first day of classes! Already dropped one and picked up a harder one in it's place. So me. Also this new class has a much more expensive and expansive (it's freaking HUGE) text book.

So basically, lets hope this college education thing works out, 'cause I'm gonna have a lotta bills to pay. But what makes me happy when I'm feeling blue? True Blood. Here are some pics of Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer at Sea World a month ago.Why is Anna constantly so adorable? I think she's becoming my first style icon. This is a happy day- my sister will probably begin weeping. My lack of interest in shopping and style icons constantly frustrates her. No more dear sister! I finally have found my long sought after style icon, our beloved Sookie.

I haven't had a chance to watch the latest True Blood online yet. I'm saving it for a night when I can really focus on it. I've thought about watching it during the day in between classes, but it's just not the same. It feels wrong.

The Sexiest Man...Not Alive.

True Blood is so awesome. Everyone needs to take my advice and start watching it, because Alexander Skarsgard is fan-friggin-tastic. He is amazing as Eric Northman.

Sookie needs to stop hanging out with that boring vampire Bill and shack up with Eric. When he towers above Bill, at 6'4" there is just no competition. Bill is just a big ole short yawn of a guy. His skin is really papery looking too- Eric obviously moisterizes.

Alexander has just created an amazing character, he really sets the tone for everyone else in his scenes. Thank goodness they got rid of Eric's long hair he had in season one, it was totally masking his hotness.
Alexander Skarsgard has been nominated for Sweden's sexiest man five times, and I think it is far past time for People to put him on our cover. I mean, Nick Nolte has been a sexiest man alive. I'll borrow a phrase from the last time he was even remotely attactive: as if.

Tainted Yogurt.

Evan Rachel Wood is going to be on True Blood. I can see it. She's a good actress but...

Ew. Marilyn Manson isn't something that goes away, like rehab. It taints you as a human being for the rest of time. Like yogurt that is still before the expiration date, but...you just don't quite want to eat it. It just looks off. Even if we forget, we'll still look at her, cock our heads to the side and wrinkle our nose in distaste.

But vampire Queen is probably a good role regardless. She has a haughty way about her, so we'll see. I don't automatically hate this, but she weirds me out.

True Love.

HBO's True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are engaged!

I only just started watching the show two weeks ago after my sister suggested-nay, ordered- that I watch it. My childhood taught me to not question her "suggestions". Once again, she was totally right, I absolutely love love love love True Blood. The writing and acting are phenomenal, and I never felt like it was stealing or copying the Twilight series, which I have to admit was my first reservation, because I've been over Twilight since I found out Stephenie Meyer is a twit and a terrible writer.

I've found that as my life progresses, Twilight becomes less and less significant. True Blood takes me back to the good old days of great Vampire novels: Companions of the Night, and of course the Anne Rice series.

It's a must watch. I caught up in 4 days watching on megavideo. It's addictive and I order everyone of you to watch it. I'm not as persuasive as my sister, so most of you will ignore me, the way Theo has. You will all be sorry when you finally see the light.

Ugh. I hate how Twilight makes me turn everything into a rant. Anyways, here's a overview of the first season to give you a taste (haha). I'll let that stand on its own.
