I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For...Gay Ice Cream?

Possibly the most ingenious idea ever. I mean, what, he has got to be getting a ton of press. NPR has already done a story on him for goodness sakes. Doug Quint- who yes, is gay- a classically trained bassoonist, has only had the business for a few months. He sees it as a fun summer gig while most orchestras are on break.

"If I weren't gay, I wouldn't call it the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. And if I weren't happy, I wouldn't have the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck. It would just be the big crabby ice cream truck," Quint says.

As for his menu, well he describes it as "metrosexual", with toppings such as ground wasabi peas, caramelized bacon, Trix cereal and Nutella.

I want to go to there.

Dress for Success.

President Barack Obama has made Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed list, along with his wife Michelle. Other political figures gracing the list include Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the wife of French President Nikolas Sarkozy, and New York Mayor Michael Bloomburg and his wife Diana Taylor.

Brad Pitt also made the list this year, although curiously missing was his wife, Angelina Jolie who made the list with him in 2008 in the couples catagory. Hmm. That could cause a rift. Anne Hathaway also made the cut, along with...Alicia Keys and Kelly Ripa? Obviously the judges like to knock back a few before deciding these? How random.

Well, I didn't seem to make the list this year, but here's hoping for 2010- Kelly Ripa can suck it!

Sidney Crosby's Big Day.

Today, 8/7, is Sidney Crosby's birthday. Le sigh. I wish I could spend it with him.

You know who does get to spend it with him? MAX. Hahaha popYEAH!'s name inventor himself, Max Talbot. Love him. He's so cute. Sometimes I get really delusional and I think, "Geez, what would I do if they both were totally in love with me?" Then I snap out of it, because...that is just not how my life works. Deux le sigh.

Sid started off his day, as you can tell in the video I've attached below, boarding a miltary helicopter to go to his native Cole Harbor, Nova Scotia. Where of course, hundreds of skanky girls were waiting to seduce him. I mean- hundreds of fans, waiting to congratulate him. Of course.

Then at 2:30 there was a parade in his honor, which he lead and thousands attended. Today has also been declared "Sidney Crosby Day" by Halifax's mayor.

Crosby is turning 22. FML. I have three years to accomplish something.

Mr. A-Z, will you marry me?

So my friend Megan loves Jason Mraz, so this post is for her. I have to say, I'm totally crushing on him too. How cute is he? Really talented, feel- good music, seems like a funny quirky guy.

Hate the Today Show people though. Did they go onto google and look up how to be totally clichè, lame adults? Ugh. More Jason please.

Love this song too, and I know Megan does:

Pearls Are A Girl's Best Friend.

27 year- old Winnipeg born actress Anna Paquin was spotted walking her dogs in Venice Beach, wearing her engagement ring from co-star and new fiance Stephen Moyer!

The ring is gorgeous, non? I love the pearl, instead of a diamond. I've never liked diamonds much myself, so I love this choice.

Also, I don't care what anyone says. Love her gap. It's adorable. This kind of cuteness is what Hill Billy Girl Cyrus wishes her teeth were. Instead of just annoying.

Ugh. I hate it when I taint good people with talk of evil people. I will reform.

But congrats to this awesome couple!

Watch Out!

Kelly Osbourne and her beau Luke Worrell exited London nightclub Mahiki and started a one-sided water gun fight with the paparazzi waiting outside.

Now, when Lindsay Lohan did this last week I thought it was annoying. Plus I really try hard to never write about her. But when Kelly does it, I love it! She looks like she's having so much fun! Besides, if sources are correct, paparazzi aren't yet evil enough to melt from getting squirted with a little water.

Well played Kelly, well played.

popYEAH! will keep you updated on this celebrity trend.

Hard to Kill.

Hard to Kill is the name of a 1990 Steven Seagal movie. Which Kellan Lutz apparently thinks he is in. Once again Kellan leaving the gym in Vancouver dressed for...? Who knows. The apocalypse move he is starring in in his mind?

Seriously, he's so cool he needs a special "working out guy's" utility belt? Puh-lease.
