Best Play EVER.

Um this is probably THE most awesome thing I have ever seen. Kudos to 19 on the other team though, he caught on pretty quickly. Nearly got him too.

Then it wouldn't of been half as awesome. Unfortunately this is the kind of thing that can only happen once, because the second someone else tries to do it, you know some guy on the other team is like, "Wait- I know what he's trying to do. I saw it on YouTube. Get 'em!!!"

Which sucks. Because I really want the NFL to adopt this play. It literally counts on the fact that football players with brains are few. No one thinks that the play is actually happening. They MOVE ASIDE for him. It's hilarious.

Bright Side

On Thursday, the college football season ended with Alabama beating Texas for the national championship. Texas' Colt McCoy was injured, then returned, but not to full form. Stinks, but on the bright side- Matthew McConaughey is one of the horns biggest fans. And with Matt comes Levi.

Levi is presh. Just so adorable. He was with his father cheering on the Longhorns at Pasadena. Besides Kingston Rossdale, Levi is my favorite celeb child. I imagine his little sister, Vida- born on the fourth, will be stealing our hearts soon enough. How can you look at his face and not smile?

No Longer Deafeated!!!

21 months. 19 games. One and a half seasons. But, it's over now.

The Detroit Lions won last night against the Washington Redskins (totally not p.c.), beating them 19-14!! Thank goodness. That's all I can really say. There is nothing worse than being the worst... except for going winless.

The main reason I love college sports is because athletes are not playing for a paycheck or for pride, but for their school. They wear their jerseys with pride and represent their schools day in and day out. I love it.

But, I really was moved - there's nothing better than getting that first win! And, the Lions did it in front of their smallest crowd since 1989. And (I don't want to preach, but...), this was a win for city of Detroit, not just the Lions. The automotive capital has an unemployment rate of 22% as of January.

So, this was a huge win at home! Will they get another? Doubtful, but the streak ends. Tears were flowing from the owners, THE FORD FAMILY, and players. Nothing gets me like a grown man crying.

Usually, hate local news, but I love the guys saying Super Bowl Bound. Haha. Too funny.

They can have football, but the Stanley Cup belongs to Pittsburgh. Just saying.

"That's a dealbreaker, ladies!"

Yum! I love me some Terrell Owens. He's sexy and arrogant. I don't like the arrogant part, but he can back it up! You can even see his best asset in this picture - his mouth, you pervs! His teeth are amazing. I love smiles. They are by far the biggest deal breaker. I could tolerate the cockiness longer than jacked up teeth.

Don't judge me. My mother raised me this way.

Well, VH1 has already requested a second season of "The T.O. Show." As someone who thoroughly enjoys trashy television, I must say this show was a must see on my list. Not to mention one of T.O.'s love interests is a former Gator Volleyball player, Kari Klinkenborg.

Tall athletic babies. My dreams come true! Cannot wait for season two.

Sucka Punch!

Maybe, Boise State players said something about Oregon's jersey. Probably not though.

Whatever the reason, something set LaGarrette (wtf?) Blount off enough to sucker punch Boise St.'s Byron Hout square in the chin. Blount sent Hout to the ground. Like, he was out.

Blount THEN went hit his own player and almost jumped into the stands.

In my opinion, he should be kicked off the team! I totally agree. Violence should not be should not be tolerated. If he goes with a slap on the wrist, this behavior is being not only ignored, but encouraged.

He's an idiot - hopefully, he'll go undrafted. Stuff like this goes on your permanent record - yeah, I went there.

I love the passion in college sports - that's why is better than pro's (except maybe hockey), but this is not cool... sends the wrong message to everyone involved.

Geez, why did he have to be black?

I don't want to forget that he has since apologized and promised not to punch anyone after a football game again. That's comforting.

That duck looks pissed too.

Easy Targets

Doesn't mean it can be this ugly.

U of Oregon and Boise State are playing right now, and I couldn't help but notice the Oregon Duck's jersey. Well, I couldn't miss them.

They're awful.

The Ducks are usually known for their awful outfits - excuse me uniforms, but these are down right awful. The color scheme is all wrong. And, keep in mind - these have to be worn by men that are on averaging 6'2, over 215 lbs. Not a good look.

FINALLY!

Court will tell you, I love college football. Live for it. Last year, my parents and I went to Miami for the Orange Bowl!! UC ended up losing, but it was a ton of fun. My dad, a former UC player, got to hang with all of his old buddies. There were a lot of, "This can't be Theo!" moments. And, the weekend was organized by men- mistake that will be corrected next year.

So, don't get us confused. I cheer for Cincinnati and Florida (in that order), Courtney is a Notre Dame fan. UC is not ranked in the top 25, YET, but wait for us. UF is number one, while ND came in as 23.

This season, Court and I will be trying to keep you updated with our thoughts of the season. And, remember... its us- these won't just be football thoughts :]

-Theo, GO UC.

PS. UF - Saturday vs. Charleston Southern.
UC - Monday vs. Rutgers on ESPN!
ND - Saturday vs. Nevada!

Yeah, GO IRISH! Haha I'll be at the game Saturday, so I'll try to post pics and my thoughts (however limited) about the game.
