Meryl's Magic.

Mon Dieu. Meryl Streep on the cover of Vanity Fair. Is there anything more spectacular? She certainly looks gorgeous, non?

I will quote the ABC show "Modern Family" to sum up my feelings about Meryl:

Random mom: You know my husband and I just rented "Mamma Mia", which I liked, but (condescending tone) I don't know that Meryl Streep was the right choice.
Cameron: Excuse me, Meryl Streep could play Batman and be the right choice. She is perfection. Whether she's divorcing Kramer, whether she's wearing Prada, and don't even get me started about "Sophie's Choice".

Here's some quotes from the article:
At this stage in her life: “I’m very f—ing grateful to be alive. I have so many friends who are sick or gone, and I’m here. Are you kidding? No complaints!”
On never expecting her acting career to last this long: “It’s incredible—I’m 60, and I’m playing the romantic lead in romantic comedies! Bette Davis is rolling over in her grave. She was 42 when she did All About Eve, and she was 54 when she did What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
