127 Hours A Go.

Director Danny Boyle of "Slumdog Millionare" fame has just been confirmed by Variety to direct movie "127 Hours" about mountaineer Aron Ralston who had to amputate his own arm back in 2003 when it was pinned underneath a boulder. The title is obviously about how long he was stuck under said boulder.

Along with Boyle, writer Simon Beaufoy, who wrote the "Slumdog" script, is in talks to write this one as well. Also, producer Christian Colson, so I'm sure the publicity for this film will be something along the lines of "Oscar-winning team creates another heartwarming masterpiece!"

We'll see. I rarely trust these things right out of the gate. I like the premise though. Very Jon Krakauer. I feel like he should write his next book on this- if he hasn't already that is.

It was reported that Ryan Gosling was to star in it, but Variety reports that no actors have been chosen yet, so that is obviously untrue. Unfortunately.
