It's Not that Bad

Remember when Mischa Barton went crazy a few weeks ago? Checked herself into a mental facility, before the start of press tours for The Beautiful Life : TBL? She was removed from her home on an involuntary psychiatric hold.

I'm not going to make a joke about this, because good for her for going to get help for herself. I imagine her life can be difficult - every now and then... on occasion.

Anyways, Mischa went on The View claiming she basically went crazy because her wisdom teeth were removed (here's the link). Um... Okay, Mischa. I thought I was in pain - more so extreme discomfort. But, Court can vouch, I wasn't on my way to the hospital. A week later, I was weening myself off my meds and despite trouble sleeping, perfectly fine!

If you don't want to talk about being the the psych ward, don't. But, we can all smell the BS in this story. I know people that have had shattered tooth roots in their gum and never had to be checked into the psych ward.

All I will say is that Theo is addicted to the happy pills they gave her after she got her wisdom teeth out. She is however, functioning well and not Mischa Barton crazy. So, using her as an example, addiction does not necessarily make you crazy. In fact, it made Theo so much fun! There is a lesson in there somewhere. Become addicted responsibly- like me with Diet Coke.
