Maybe, Boise State players said something about Oregon's jersey. Probably not though.Whatever the reason, something set LaGarrette (wtf?) Blount off enough to sucker punch Boise St.'s Byron Hout square in the chin. Blount sent Hout to the ground. Like, he was out.
Blount THEN went hit his own player and almost jumped into the stands.
In my opinion, he should be kicked off the team! I totally agree. Violence should not be should not be tolerated. If he goes with a slap on the wrist, this behavior is being not only ignored, but encouraged.
He's an idiot - hopefully, he'll go undrafted. Stuff like this goes on your permanent record - yeah, I went there.
I love the passion in college sports - that's why is better than pro's (except maybe hockey), but this is not cool... sends the wrong message to everyone involved.
Geez, why did he have to be black?
I don't want to forget that he has since apologized and promised not to punch anyone after a football game again. That's comforting.
