Les Paul.

Music legend Les Paul passed away from complications of Pneumonia on Thursday. He was 94 years young.

Now unfortunately, I don't play guitar, but it isn't lost on me what an amazing and historical contribution Les Paul made with his innovative talents and development of the solid body electric guitar.

This was the man who made rock 'n roll possible. The Les Paul guitar is the holy grail of music, and since he first started performing at the age of 13 in 1928, he has never stopped being an influential figure in music. He was other famous guitarist Steve Miller's godfather, and gave him his first guitar lesson.

No one can project how far this man's talent has reached. Condolences to his family and the countless fans who mourn his passing.
